Did you know that a female cat, in just 5 years, can be responsible for 20,000 descendents?
Did you know that a neutered cat is less likely to catch FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) or FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus).
Also an uncastrated male will mark his territory with strong smelling urine and will often disappear for days or weeks at a time and then turn up injured from fighting other males.
Kittens can be neutered from around 4 months of age, or as your vet advises.
For more information and other reasons to have your cat neutered download our cats protection leaflet by clicking here or on the leaflet image.*
We can help you out with the cost of neutering. Vouchers are available that are redeemable at most vets (please check before booking your cat in). Vouchers are worth £26 for females and £20 for males. Ring our helpline number 0845 371 2717 for more information or to arrange for a voucher. There is no limit to the number of cats so why not have all your cats neutered.
If you have a farm, a smallholding or just are taking care of a feral colony please contact us as it may be possible to obtain full funding for the cost of neutering.
